چنان که قاصدکی‌ست در پرواز
کمی بالاتر از دستان کودکی‌ام
و من سر به هوا به دنبالش
از حیاط تا دشت تا کوه تا قلّه تا زیرپایم ناگاهان خالی
و چند گام بر فراز درّه
چنان که قاصدکی‌ست در پرواز

A dandelion’s in flight
Just a little higher than my childhood hands
I run after it
from the yard to the plain
To the mountain
To the summit
To a few paces over the valley
As a dandelion in flight
